In aviation, fit is everything
Aviation uniforms are worn for long duty days, in confined spaces and in front of passengers who notice every detail. A good fit lets crew focus on the passenger experience instead of their clothing, and a consistent look reinforces the airline or operator brand from check-in to arrival.
We travel to client facilities to run fitting sessions for flight deck, cabin crew and ground staff, so each person is measured and fitted properly rather than ordering from a chart.
Roles and garments
- Cabin crew: jackets, blouses or shirts, dresses, skirts and trousers, with scarves, ties and badges
- Flight deck: tailored jackets, shirts and trousers, with insignia and rank details to your specification
- Check-in, gate and passenger service: smart jackets, shirts and blouses that coordinate with cabin crew
- Lounge and hospitality staff: tailored pieces in the operator's palette
- Ramp and baggage teams: work shirts, trousers, coveralls, hi-vis and outerwear for airside work
- Engineering and maintenance: coveralls and workwear suited to hangar and airside conditions
- Operations, training and office staff: corporate shirts, blouses and polos
- Flight schools: cadet and instructor uniforms
Matching your brand guidelines
Aviation brands are tightly defined, so we work from your guidelines on colours, cuts, insignia and accessories. Jackets, shirts, blouses, dresses, skirts and trousers are produced in fabrics chosen for crease resistance and comfort across long shifts. Scarves, ties, caps and badges are produced to match.
Fabric choices and why
Airside visibility and protective requirements are set by the airport and your own safety team. Tell us what applies to each role and we confirm suitable garments before quoting.
- Polyester-wool or polyester-viscose suiting for jackets, skirts and trousers: holds its shape, resists creasing when seated and is lighter than pure wool
- Stretch suiting with a small percentage of elastane: freedom of movement in the cabin
- Easy-care shirting for shirts and blouses: crease-resistant through long duty days and quick to dry on layovers
- Linings chosen for breathability in warm terminals and on aircraft stands
- Hi-vis and durable twill for ramp teams; flame-retardant fabrics where your HSE team requires them, for example for fuel-handling roles
Comfort through long duty days
Crew uniforms move between cool cabins, warm aircraft stands and busy terminals in a single shift. We choose crease-resistant, breathable fabrics with some stretch for movement, and pay attention to details such as jacket linings, pocket placement for operational items and closures that stay neat when seated.
Our process suits operators of different sizes, from flight schools and private aviation to ground-handling teams, and ramp staff can be outfitted with tougher fabrics, hi-vis and outerwear suited to airside work.
Insignia, accessories and placement
Aviation uniforms rely on details more than logos. Badges, name bars, rank details and insignia are produced to your specification and approved on a sample. Scarves and ties carry your colours or pattern, linings can be made in brand colours, and caps and accessories are matched to the range. For ramp and engineering teams, logos are embroidered on the chest and printed on the back of hi-vis and workwear.
How an aviation uniform project runs
- Brief: roles, headcount, brand guidelines and the date the uniform should launch
- Design and fabrics: styles per role with fabric swatches and accessory options
- Quotation: a written quotation that confirms minimums and the delivery schedule
- Samples: one per style, reviewed by your uniform or brand team
- Wear trial: where time allows, a small group can wear the samples on duty and give feedback
- Fitting sessions: measurement and try-on at your facilities, by role and shift
- Production and quality checks
- Delivery: bulk to your uniform store, or individual packs per employee
Sizing and fitting crews
Fit is checked in person. Our team runs fitting sessions at your facilities, recording each person's measurements and preferred sizes by garment. Ready sizes cover XS to 4XL, and tailored pieces such as jackets can be adjusted or made to measure. Measurements stay on record, so replacements and new crew can be produced without starting again.
Supply and service after delivery
We offer flexible delivery options, from a single bulk shipment to your uniform store to individual packs for employee pick-up points. After delivery we continue to support you with replenishment, updates to the range and alterations.
- On-site fitting sessions at your facilities
- Garments and accessories matched to your guidelines
- Bulk or individual packing and delivery
- Ongoing replenishment and alterations
Replenishment and new crew
Crew numbers change with schedules and seasons. We keep approved patterns, fabric references and accessory details on file, so new crew receive the same uniform and replacements match. If a fabric is discontinued, we tell you and propose the closest alternative before production. Many operators keep a small stock of common sizes and accessories in their own uniform store for new joiners.
Care on the road
- Jackets, skirts and trousers: dry clean or wash as the care label states; air between wears
- Shirts and blouses: wash and hang to dry, which helps easy-care fabrics recover overnight
- Scarves and ties: follow the label, as some fabrics need gentle washing
- Ramp hi-vis: replace when fluorescence or tape fades
